Awesome Avalon
Discovering Avalon, New South Wales
Avalon is a small beachside suburb located on Sydney’s northern beaches in New South Wales, Australia. It’s known for its stunning beaches, laid-back atmosphere, and vibrant community.
I stayed here some years ago and the memories have stayed with me. It was here that I walked barefoot on the sand, where I laughed with joy to see cockatoos flying free and congregating on the beach in the same way that sparrows would in the UK. I spent many happy days just wandering around, watching the sea, paddling in the warm waters, having a Thai lunch on a street-side restaurant table and generally drifting through the paradise on Earth that is Avalon.
